I’ve interviewed many creatives in entertainment and lifestyle for the retail & apparel brand Levi’s. From the all-female skateboarding group, The Skate Kitchen, to the celebrated visual artist, Shantell Martin, it was a pleasure working with our talented interviewees.

For this particular piece, I pitched and ensured the two women of color would be featured (note: Angela has since changed their pronouns to they/them). To potentially see a representation of ourselves in printed media is so important for us—young girls and women of color alike.
